This is Carl Trinkle Jr. The son of Carl Trinkle Sr, the Leader of the republican Party of California at the time. Carl was, I think the only Enlisted man on the Island that held all the License's for flying. He held a dual engine and Commercial and Instrument rated. he also had all the license's needed to fly Commercial Air liners. When he left Midway he was transferred to a Ferry Squadron in texas and flew all kind of aircraft for the Navy. At the time he was on Midway he was a third Class PO. He said he hated Officers. lol. When he was discharged he started his own Crop duster Business, I went to see him in 1972 and he had three Stinson's and One new low wing Cassia. He went to work for Aloha Air lines next and flew from the islands to somoma for years. Then he went with Pacific South west airlines. he then went into flying for a Hot shot Company like Top Gun. they rented out to Wanna be Jet Jocks and taught them to fly in dog fights until two years ago when his ticker gave out and he had a triple by pass operation. Carl is a great guy and my best friend and sill is if he's alive.
